OCR: Roger Clark's 1969 Four-Wheel- Drive 3.0l capri tabovel and (left) the cosworth 3.4 I v6 with Lucas fuel injection that powered the later 1970's capris. Roger Clark's Capri, won its first event within weeks of the model's official launch. He won a rallycross event staged at croft, five miles South of Darlington, on February 8th 1969. The engine started life as a standard 300000 U6, the heads were built by weslake to make full use of a racing tupe Lucas fuel injection system. The transmission had a Ferguson Torque- splitting differential which gave a 40/60 front/rear transfer to the drive. 0-60 mph was 7.0 secs
